I'm back!!

I've neglected my blog for a while >.<;; I'm ashamed of myself....I made an instagram account for my snail mail and got completely distracted by it!!

So tonight I'll post some of the letters I've received recently and currently working on~

A letter from Jofiane in Indonesia~ I finished my reply to her today and have to stick in an envelope, address it then mail it out!

My reply~ I managed to write 5 pages! I'm hoping I can have it all enveloped and addressed to go out tomorrow afternoon or Saturday morning!

Incoming from Ashley in NYC! She's a fairly new penpal I met on Instagram~

My reply I also finished tonight~

Incoming letter from Kylie in Australia! I haven't started her reply yet...I'm not sure if I'll be able to tonight, but if not it will be done tomorrow, during school or after school!

She included the cutest owl stickers! That are also 3-D!! So adorable~

Incoming from Hanna who is also in Indonesia~ Her letter arrived yesterday! So I haven't had time yet to start my reply >.<

She included two gel pens, two candies and currency from her country along with her letter~

Incoming letter from Lotte in The Netherlands which also came yesterday as well! So I haven't had time to start my reply. 

She sent me a clog keychain!! I used to have a tiny pair of clogs when I was younger, for decoration- not wearing purposes- and I'm not sure where they are now :(

She included cute birds and butterflies confetti! I love them so much!!

Last but not least here is the stationery I've been using for my replies today!! I love them sooo much!! They are just  so adorable, I can't contain myself~~

Incoming 10/03/2014

I received a letter from Lydia in the states, and I also was able to write and finish her reply within the hour! Whooo~

 

My reply

I got some return address labels printed up! They also came into today so I was able to use them for the first time! Yayy!~ They're Japanese Cherry Blossoms~ 

My letter opener also makes an appearance cover my address and Lydia's address.

I bought a kawaii bundle/pack on etsy too which also came in today! But I've taken it all out and organized it within my boxes :/ so I can't really take pictures now, but I ordered another one from a different shop, it's a random pack of large letter set sheets. So I'm super excited for when those come in! I also made two more orders from penpaloftheweek's la papierre~ 

The first order was two letter sets, SOTW 13 and 14 then I used the 30% coupon which ends TODAY, and for my second order I got 40 sheets for $16 and via air mail stickers! I can't wait for these all to come in!

Incoming 9/29/2014

Today I received two letters!~ The first letter was from Becky in the UK, but the envelope was torn at the top and something was lost :( I'll let her know that in my reply..

I also just received a postcard from Italy!~ Becky is in Italy now~ 

Then I received a gift from Anri! In my last reply to her I sent her a NY state shaped necklace, and after her letter she sent her gift separately, which is also a necklace, with an 'A' charm, a heart charm, and a stud charm which look so nice!! :D

 Could we also just take a moment to notice the hello kitty stamps!! I'm so jealous! They are so cute!! I love them so much!

Outgoing~

I finished two letters today!~

First was my reply to Justyna, which was also the first time I've painted an envelope, and I used watercolor for her envelope which I think looks cool~

Then I finished my reply to Paige in Indiana!~ I used a clear envelope and wrapped the letter in tissue paper so you can't read it, then taped the edges~

What do you guys think? I think these are pretty awesome! I'm trying to find new ways to make my letters look fun ^.^

I also have the clear postcard that's going out tomorrow too~

I have to finish Rena's birthday package and finish my reply to Kyuhyun as well!

Trial #1: Clear Postcard attempt

Here is my attempt at creating a clear postcard. I'm quite proud of this one ^.^ I think it turned out much better than I had imagined. I didn't have many scraps to use though which is mostly what you're supposed to use but instead I used magazine clipings~

I aldready have it addressed, and it's going to someone whom I'm currently writing my reply for.

Mini Update 14~

Today I got a letter in the mail from Paige in Indiana~ Though when I went to open the envelope with my letter opener, I kinda cut some of the paper >.<;; But it's okay!! It's not bad. Also from that I've learned a new way to open letters with a letter opener so that won't happen again! Phew~

My order from penpaloftheweek.com came in today!~ If you go to the website for this whole month there is a giveaway everyday!! Also some of the stationary that will be sale at the time might be on sale or buy a pack of two for a discounted price! But you'll have to check it out to see which stationary is up now~
This is my first time ordering stationary and even though it's winter/ Christmas theme and I have a while to use, I'm still so super excited!! :DDD
I'm hoping to get another set of stationary but I'll have to see if I have enough money >.<;

So to follow up with my catching up post~ I've almost completely finished writing my replies :D
Currently I'm working on my reply to Justyna, then I have a new penpal in Turkey that I have to respond to~

I received a package from Jae two days ago which I will post this week also. I sent her package out for her birthday and she also sent an early birthday package!

I have a package for Jeong-a ready to send out but I have to print her address in Korean also because she didn't know the english translation for her college address so I went to google translate, and translated it to english....so who knows how accurate it is! But I'm also printing out a Korean version so *hopefully* that goes really well!

I'm putting together a package to send out to Kyuhun soon, but I'm having some trouble finding Marvel things which is stressful, but I'll find them then I can send it!~


Senior year is really stressful >.<;; and it's only the 4th week!!! :O I don't know what to doooo and we're getting ready for college applications :( I don't wanna leave...but at the same time I can't wait to leave...oh man this is stressful.

Catching Up Post #1

Here are some of the letters I received~ I'm thinking it'll be about 3~4 Catching Up Posts, though there will only about 4 letters in each post.

Okay, Lets begin!~

 This is Rena's letter!~ Her birthday was in August, so I'll be sending out a parcel to her this week! I have the parcel decorated and a few things together already so soon it'll be ready~

  This letter is from Daisy in NYC~ I loved her stationary and the color of her envelope~
I tried something different, by covering her address with a sticker on an editing app. I think it looks nice ^.^

 

 My letter from Chantel! :D  Which was a long letter! But it was nice to read :) I love getting long letters in the mail~

My second letter from Becky~ I just finished writing my reply, but it's sunday D: So I have to wait until tomorrow to send it out.

Late update!

I haven't been on here for over a month :O I received a lot of letters and 2 packages/parcels~
School started yesterday D: ohmygoodness I'm a senior and I just wanna sleep all day :( I'm pretty sure I finished all my homework for tonight :P So I can post pictures and update everything! :D Yay!~

So I'll go and sort through the letters I received the past month and a half to show~ Though I haven't had time to reply to all of them...I think i've replied to around 2-3 which I know isn't a lot, but i'm pretty sure that 2 of them were quite long letters. Currently I'm working on writing Becky's letter (from the UK) then I'll be replying to Chantel~ I'm hoping that this weekend I'll be able to send out a few more replies within that time! I'll be visiting college campuses though so I don't think there will be many other things in there except the letter >.<; but I think it's understandable right?

Okay! I'll stop now so I can post the pictures!

Usually for birthdays once we have been writing back and forth for a year, after that year I'll send something special for your birthday, because some people don't write back after I send them things :(

How do you store your pen pal letters?

Since the mail hasn't come yet and I'll be gone over the weekend I thought that I would share how I store my pen pal letters and see if anyone stores their's the same way or differently~

First off, I save the envelope and the letter, when I told my mom this she asked me why I saved the envelope D: Many of them are cute :3 to be honest, some have landscape pictures of their country, some of my pen pals decorate their envelopes, so why would I not want to save them??

I store my pen pal letters in a 3 drawer storage file, with clear inserts. Though I only use the middle level for my letters, the other 2 store supplies~

I've started to write when I receive my letters and when I send them out which is what the white pieces of paper are that are folded over. But for now they are only being used for pen pals in which i have 3 or more letters with. 

I keep this at my desk :3 so I always see it when I walk into my room, and sometimes when I feel down, I'll read through them :)

If anyone is interested in the incoming/outgoing date trackers I can put them up in another post!

Outgoing mail 29 July 2014

The two parcels I sent out on the 28th~ But since it's 2am now and all the letters I have will be going out on the 29th, the name has the date of the 29th on it!

This letter is going to Justyna, I had her letter last to finish from the last post when I got 5 letters when I was away from home~
I finished it and it's all ready to go in the mailbox in the morning!

My reply to Joey, I'm sorry the lighting is terrible in these photos >.<; I've been using the vellum envelopes more and more now and I really like them,
or also because I don't have any regular ones...

And in this photo there is a letter to Jae, who I am replying late to >.<; But also her birthday is coming up in September along with Rena's so I'll be sending them something special! Also there are 3 letters addressed to someone in the States, I'm sending her my excess FB's and i had to use envelopes to send them to her, she's supposed to send me some cute stationary in return, but we'll see! 

This is my last update of the night!~ It's almost 3am now so if I want to make it to the mailbox in time, I'll be sleeping now!~

Letter from Jeong-a in Korea~

The last of the 3 letters is from Jeong-a in South Korea! :D
Jeong-a writes to both, my sister and I. She sent her replies in one parcel, I received face masks and my sister received candy. So since I only received the masks that's all I'll post with her letter she wrote.

 This is what both replies came in!~

My envelope :3 with my letter in it! In the envelope there was also some stickers, and two photos of Jeong-a too!

Here you can see the face masks she sent me, I used one earlier tonight!~ They felt nice and  cold!

Letter from Joey in Hong Kong~

I also received a letter from Joey in Hong Kong as a part of my 3 letters I received!

 I was really surprised when I got Joey's reply because it came a lot quicker than her usual replies, and she said that now she has vacation she can reply faster! So I was really happy to get my quick reply from Joey~

She sent me a her letter, which seems to get longer with each reply and I'm really happy about! :)
A bookmark, a ticket from a water park she went to with her school, a little booklet cover I believe, and a note asking if I could send her leaves....which I forgot to put in the envelope >.<; I feel bad, I'll find some leaves and put them in a separate envelope to mail! It's all good!

Letter from Chantel in Kansas!~

When I was away I received 3 letters~ One of them was from Chantel! :)

I love how she decorated the envelope! It looks so nice, I want to be able to do this soon to envelopes so they look nice and make the receiver happy when they see it in their mailbox~

I didn't take photos of everything in the envelope, but just the main components. Her letter has the floral tape on it, and she included some photos on the other paper to the left of the letter, and inside the My Melody envelope are 2 B2ST photo cards :3 a photo of her hamster, and a sticker from a LINK event she just went to!








I haven't replied to Chantel yet, I'm hoping to finish her letter by tomorrow, but I don't think I'll be able to mail it out tomorrow as well because the mail woman comes around 11:00am and sometimes I sleep to 10:00am >.<; so it will most likely be in the mail Wednesday morning!~

Mini Update #10~

I'm not home....again, and during  the time I haven't been home I have received 3 letters! ._. does that only happen to me??
Anyway, I'll be posting them soon! I received letters from Jeong-a in South Korea, Joey in Hong Kong and Chantel in Kansas!~

Outgoing Mail to Becky~

I'll start posting outgoing mail...well if I can remember to, I've been failing to recently so hopefully after this time I can continue!

 I like to add little bits of confetti to my letters so hopefully when my pen pals open them it makes them happy ^.^

Sometimes I like to use clear envelopes, but other times I get worried when I use them cause you can see everything inside >.<;

Letter from Becky in England~

Today I received a letter from Becky in England~
She's 18 and emailed me after she saw my pen pal ad on penpaloftheweek.com

Her letter she sent me ^.^ she made her stationery which was really cool, cause if I don't have any stationery available usually I use graph paper >.<;

She sent 2 postcards though only one is in the picture. The other one we're supposed to see how many times we can send it back and forth to each other while still being able to write something on it each time!
She sent a British coin and a Swiss coin! :D  A stamp from when she went to Nepal and a cute bracelet~

Mini Update #8

I sent out replies to all but one letter! I'm hoping to finish it later today, but I'll have to send it out tomorrow because the mail already came today! I got a postcard from Anri in Japan, but now she is in Canada studying so she sent me a postcard from where she is staying!

 This is the letter I received from Anri while I was on vacation, I sent her reply yesterday so hopefully when she gets back home she will get it! :)
