Outgoing~

I finished two letters today!~

First was my reply to Justyna, which was also the first time I've painted an envelope, and I used watercolor for her envelope which I think looks cool~

Then I finished my reply to Paige in Indiana!~ I used a clear envelope and wrapped the letter in tissue paper so you can't read it, then taped the edges~

What do you guys think? I think these are pretty awesome! I'm trying to find new ways to make my letters look fun ^.^

I also have the clear postcard that's going out tomorrow too~

I have to finish Rena's birthday package and finish my reply to Kyuhyun as well!

Trial #1: Clear Postcard attempt

Here is my attempt at creating a clear postcard. I'm quite proud of this one ^.^ I think it turned out much better than I had imagined. I didn't have many scraps to use though which is mostly what you're supposed to use but instead I used magazine clipings~

I aldready have it addressed, and it's going to someone whom I'm currently writing my reply for.

Clear postcards?

I was on Pinterest the other day and I saw a post that had a picture of clear postcards-- I was really curious so I clicked on the link to the blog and found some more pictures! The postcards are made with packaging tape!

Here is a picture, and I thought this idea was really cool! So I was thinking since today is a Sunday and there's not much to do, I could try to make some and maybe send some out!

Isn't this such a cool idea?? Or am I like the last person to find out about this?

Mini Update 14~

Today I got a letter in the mail from Paige in Indiana~ Though when I went to open the envelope with my letter opener, I kinda cut some of the paper >.<;; But it's okay!! It's not bad. Also from that I've learned a new way to open letters with a letter opener so that won't happen again! Phew~

My order from penpaloftheweek.com came in today!~ If you go to the website for this whole month there is a giveaway everyday!! Also some of the stationary that will be sale at the time might be on sale or buy a pack of two for a discounted price! But you'll have to check it out to see which stationary is up now~
This is my first time ordering stationary and even though it's winter/ Christmas theme and I have a while to use, I'm still so super excited!! :DDD
I'm hoping to get another set of stationary but I'll have to see if I have enough money >.<;

Meeting Pen Pal in October: Canceled

This isn't really any big news, but my pen pal from Korea that I was supposed to meet in October, changed her dates so she was in NYC at the beginning of September when my school started so I wasn't able to meet her! :( 

I was really upset but I also had my senior photos taken that weekend which we couldn't reschedule >.<:

So I'm really hoping that we'll be able to meet soon!~ I'm sad that I missed this opportunity, but hopefully there will be another one in the future! :)

I received a package from Jae two days ago which I will post this week also. I sent her package out for her birthday and she also sent an early birthday package!

I have a package for Jeong-a ready to send out but I have to print her address in Korean also because she didn't know the english translation for her college address so I went to google translate, and translated it to english....so who knows how accurate it is! But I'm also printing out a Korean version so *hopefully* that goes really well!

I'm putting together a package to send out to Kyuhun soon, but I'm having some trouble finding Marvel things which is stressful, but I'll find them then I can send it!~


Senior year is really stressful >.<;; and it's only the 4th week!!! :O I don't know what to doooo and we're getting ready for college applications :( I don't wanna leave...but at the same time I can't wait to leave...oh man this is stressful.

Quick Update

Since school started there's barely any time for letter writing *GASP* but I'm finding some extra time to reply to the pile of letters I have!~
But for my pen pals in the states....I seem to have no stamps D: HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?? I have stamps for my international pen pals though~
My mom and I tried something a little different and ordered stamps online through the post office....last week and they haven't gotten to us yet :/ such stress.

Also I just ordered some winter stationary from Julie at penpaloftheweek.com
I'm so excited!! It's my first time ordering from her and I honestly can not contain my happiness right now! There's a 48- hour discount going on now for the winter stationary in the post so you guys should check it out!

I sent packages to China and Korea and it's been a while since I had heard about them and was getting quite worried, but I heard from them (on the same day! weird right?) that the packages were received safely!~ :)

I also just sent out a swap to the Netherlands!~ So I'm hoping that gets there quickly, I've never sent anything to the Netherlands before so I have no idea how long it will take. :O
